Cookout event
Once I get some spare time I'll finally post the last Classic Community event, cookout =o.

Read more...I'm thinking about creating a weekly mini series for RSC. All I need now is people who are consistently willing to follow my orders. Or people might just end up being killed off every other week.
I might post a request for "actors" once I completely figure out, in which direction I want to take the said series.
Regardless, welcome to the Forgotten Legacy.
We will:
kill skeletions, zombies.
Dress up as NPC's - Guards [ lv def, noobs =0]
Hide and if we remember to we might just seek.
Choob scavenger hunt
Gather black cats [ do some quests people ]
Get owned by a monster
Take two days to complete the event. [48 hour event, helllyaaa'sssss]
I'll be posting the event staging on the weekend.
If you still don't know yet, World 1 is currently inaccessible to legit users. Only bots who never logged out or bots who use illegal programs can still connect and play the world 1 server.
Now logically this problem should of been fixed by now. As a server not working is a clear priority to work on! But my point is; why does jagex not just ban everyone who is logged into that world... its clear that they are doing something odd to access it if others can't.
Anyway this is the perfect chance for jagex to ban a hand full of cheaters, if they pass this chance up it will be blood on their hands.
Last weekend I started to ask the classic community about what should be in the H-ween event next month. From there responses so far it seems that they no longer trick or treat =o. That's about all the info I could get out of them.
Well they do want to do some costumed antics added to the event at least. That and we will be doing some hide and seek during the event.
Now regarding the Cookout that happened September 13th, it was a small affair. I only gave people a two day head start to plan to come to the event or not. Four people did end up attending the event.
As any cookout we cooked stuff. Fish, meat, some more meat, and again fish and beer.
We all meet in the Port Sarim fishing store. Once we geared up with traveled West to fish some shrimp off the coastline. After many burnt shrimps and salt in the eye, we moved to the Crafting Guild area. To kill cows and eat there flesh! After the spawn rate died down we headed out to Varrock sewers to par take in rat meat.
Daring not to light a fire in a sewer we went above ground and lit a fire in the church. After burning said church we traveled out of Varrock for fear of hanging.
Once we managed to escape we got to the Barbarian Village. Right away we headed to the food hall, pilfering cooked meat and beers! I tried talking to the chieftain but all he did was insult me by calling me ugly! When Lady Riddel tried talking with him all he said to her was Ug!
After all that we went to the river and had at the salmon beneath the water. We managed to see strangers wonder by us. When they got close enough we all tackled them to the ground! Take that level 121! Then later a lv 73 came running past us who we just ended up throwing into the water. The hungry salmon's quickly took care of him.
That's about all we did in this cookout event.
Everyone hates being unlucky. For me I swear I left all my luck in Runescape Classic. To this day I have never gotten any Dragon item drop in RS2. I got a Dragonic Visage in a team at KBD but the noob who got it ran off.
Anyway I have tried in the past to get Challenge Scrolls from the monsters that drop them, but to no avail.
Today with the release of the "Dragon Pickaxe" I went out and beat the quest. Which has a SUPER EASY PUZZLE... I guess if you don't know your left from your right you might run into trouble.
Now After the quests completion I went to kill the new monsters that drop said Pick. Of course it's muti-combat so people with "high" hitting weapons will get the kill. Regardless the area is meant to be hard, and once the flood of people leaves it WILL be HARD to kill the monsters. As "rangers" will beat you to death =p.
I got lucky I guess and got a "Hand Cannon" from randomly killing a "cannon-er". Currently the weapon is 40k in the GE. But the ammo for the thing is rather Pricey. I guess since the weapon has the power to HIT very high it balances it'self out.
I can't wait for the D-pick to crash =p. People do know you make MUCH less mining then woodcutting right?
If you have not noticed yet, here is the video for the last Runescape Classic event.
As always on Mod Dave day, Mod's are sold separately =p
Well another Mod Dave day draws to a close... If you do not know what Mod Dave day is then you did not read Mod Dave's last message to the classic community. On this day he told us that he was leaving for good and put us in the charge of Mod Emilee and ----- (he quit also so...)
To remember Mod Dave I had decided to set this Runescape Classic event to the 5th. The details of the event was this;
Everyone gathered at the monastery (prayer guild) at 6Pm Eastern. We then headed to the dwarfen tunnels. Once inside we began the slaughter of the shorty's! From there we ended up back tracking to the monastery, to Falador. On the road to Falador I told members to pick-up an item that I was dropping. That item of course being a swamp toad!
Those buggers be slippery little blighters! Ill Pun Ill was the lucky man to capture the froggy alive. Everyone else ended-up with warts on there hands, hehe.
Once in the city we dug our hands into the pockets of the local men. Pulling out there lose change. Of course some men caught on to our behavior and fought back, ending in there untimely deaths.
Out of the city we traveled to the farmers, farm. There we killed all his chickens and raided his crops. Needless to say we killed the farmer before we left. If we had remembered to bring a match we might of also burned his little house down =0.
I had it planned out that we would do some "Cabbage Racing" but some players got cabbage happy and scorched the earth! Since the respawn time of cabbages is low.. and World 1 is broken... we had to move on!
We headed out towards Wizard Tower, there I told my followers to climb, Climb! Once at the top some players started attacking the lesser demon. As players are noobs, they did not manage to kill him.
Once a player offered a free super set for the first people to Lumbridge we all rushed out of the tower. One noob teleported =0. Anyway once in Lumy a player said he loves watching my videos. To that I responded " so why did you not attend this rsc event..."
Well anyway the event was short "less then 30 minutes" and people seemed to have fun. 15 dwarfs, 5 chickens, 4 men, and 18+ cabbages died during the event, acceptable losses.
Wherever you are now Mod Dave, be happy to know that we have not let Mod Emilee's neglect get in our way of having fun.
Everyone wants to play classic and everyone wants to see the classic forums =o.
But some players that even play RSC can't access the forums, so what could be your chances of seeing them? Zero should be your response =l.
Now if someone wants to access the classic forums they have to go to forum feedback area, and enter the sticky which is set-up to allow people to request access.
NOW you should only post in the sticky if you CAN play classic now and want to be allowed to post/ view the classic forum section. The sticky basically tells you that if you play classic you will be allowed in right away. But if you have many black marks or are not active enough you might be turned away. Although that RARELY happens.
This kid:
Is the perfect example of someone who does not DESERVE access to classic and least her forums. This kid basically is saying I don't play much and if you don't let me use the forums I will never do so in the near future. FIRST off kid if you are denied from accessing the forums because you have low levels/ skills then guess what? TRAIN THEM SOME! Spending an hour Firemaking, Woodcutting should give you enough levels to show you have interest in classic...
For his argument in being more involved in the game by using the forums, that's just plain foolish. All one has to do is meet some choob in Lumbridge and ask them if they want to help you train or kill a monster with them.
Remember the forums are a privilege to the users of Runescape. NO ONE is entitled to them. *wonders when this self absorb entitlement stuff will end*
